Healthy Start Tyler (HST)
Overview
The primary goal is to reduce infant mortality and maternal morbidity. The program seeks to improve healthy outcomes before, during and after pregnancy, as well as, reduce racial and ethnic differences in rates of infant deaths and negative maternal health outcomes.
Eligibility
Expecting Women, Women with Infants, Infants (up to 18 months), and Partners.

Healthy Start has been an absolute God-sent for my kids and me. They have helped me with many resources, including clothing, food, diapers, wipes, and even lights. When I signed up for this program in 2019, I had just become a single mom of 3 kids, two under the age of 1, and I was utterly stressed out. I never knew how much y’all would help me mentally to deal with my kids. We appreciate this program so much. Thank y’all for all of your services!
